Thank you for calling me young, I turn 60 in just over a week. Bob KB4CL -----Original Message----- From: Paul Cassel [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, January 05, 2008 12:49 PM To: 'Bob Main'; [EMAIL PROTECTED]; 'DXbase' Subject: RE: [Dxbase] Is it designed this way?
Hi Bob You must be a young guy as virtually all early reflectors back in dial-up days operated this way as a method of letting the responder determine if he/she wanted to add the additional download bandwidth to everyone on the list or just the original poster. List servers such as those hosted by QTH.COM still maintain this - yes - antiquated style of list server.
