Tom, Depending upon WHICH version of DXBPsk.exe you are running, do the following: (1) If your version is Version 1.0, then simply DELETE the following files from your DXbase Main Directory : DxbPSK.exe WinPSKX.dll DxbPSK.cnt DxbPSK.hlp -- then after deleting the above 4 files -- go to my Ham Radio website at: http://www.navycthistory.com/dxbase/DxbPSK.ZIP and download the above ZIP file ... Extract/SAVE the 3 files that are in the above ZIP file to your DXbase Main Directory ... NOTE!! There is no need to register the dll file (as we had to do with the original version!! --- or --- (2) If your version is Version 2.0 or 2.1, then simply DELETE the following files from your DXbase Main Directory : DxbPSK.exe Pskcore.dll Winpsk.chm -- then after deleting the above 3 files -- go to my Ham Radio website at: http://www.navycthistory.com/dxbase/DxbPSK.ZIP and download the above ZIP file ... Extract/SAVE the 3 files that are in the above ZIP file to your DXbase Main Directory ... You will NOT have to uninstall and reinstall DXBase itself, just do the above step (depending upon which VERSION of DxbPSK.exe you were running).. NOTE!!!! :: The above ZIP file contains all the files needed to run DxbPSK.exe VERSION 2.1 -- which I posted to my website in November 2006. 73 Joe wa6axe Tom Whitten wrote: > I need to uninstall and reinstall my dxbase psk program (dxbpsk as it is > corrupt and locked on a comm port grayed out i don't use? can you tell me how > to do this,, tnx tom AA1BQ > ______________________________________________________________ > Dxbase mailing list > Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase > Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > Post: mailto:[email protected] > > > From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Mar 4 11:35:06 2008 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Billy Putnam) Date: Tue Mar 4 11:39:00 2008 Subject: [Dxbase] Qso transfer to Dxbase from Dxlog V1.95 Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I would appreciate any suggestions as to how I might transfer my qso data from Dxlog to Dxbase. If you have a registered copy of DXbase ??? what version are you running ??? If you do have a registered copy of DXbase, simply open the Non-DXB Import utility from the DXbase group (START button)- and select under "Source Type" DXlog 1.9 ... 73 Joe wa6axe Billy Putnam wrote: > I would appreciate any suggestions as to how I might transfer my qso data > from Dxlog to Dxbase. I assume you mean you have one database from your old software that contains QSOs from all of the different callsigns. If that's true, then the process is pretty well a given: 1. Use the Non DXB Import utility and import your old log. 2. You would need to then manually change the OprCall field for those QSOs where the listed callsign is not the one that made the QSO. 3. You can use the Selection Wizard module to export your QSOs to ADIF and you can also filter on what OprCall you want exported. 4. Follow the ARRL process for using their software to sign and upload your ADIF file(s).
