Ron,

There are a lot of things that could result in this message, but the bottom
line is that the message indicates that you are opening a database that is
not compliant with this version of DXbase, or you failed to reboot your
machine after the installation, or maybe you installed while running
antivirus software and some of the files for the database engine did not get
installed properly. Possible other things.

If your message didn't leave out anything that you did, then my assumption
is that you simply installed and then ran DXbase with the empty database
that we installed. With that assumption, then the solution most likely is
that you will need to completely uninstall from control panel, then delete
the DXbase 2003 folder and everything in it, then delete the dxb2003.ini
file from Windows folder, then reboot. Turn off ALL other running programs
including antivirus stuff. Install DXbase, then reboot.

Regards,
Jack

I reinstalled DXbase2003 on a P3 using Windows XP, sp2. When DXbase program
is started up it loads the selected database file and then givers this
message in a pop up and won't allow any further action:

"Too few parameters. Expected 1.

CXan someone tell me what thi message means and how to correct it?
