Folks, >From time to time, we seem to get covered up with a rash of emails which all go something like, "my computer crashed and I can't find my registration file, or my old DXbase software for installation".
Also, from time to time, we have posted reminders here on the reflector stressing the importance of having the DXbase software and registration safeguarded. We also mention this in the installation instructions and also in the registration instructions that we send out. Unfortunately, since we continue to get these kinds of emails, I am once again compelled to just say it bluntly again in the hope that anyone who has not taken the advice, will spend the five minutes to safeguard there DXbase software. If you have a computer crash, and you are using an old version of DXbase, there is nothing we can do to help you with your lost files. So, if you have not already done so, copy your registration file to a CD or floppy and then put the floppy or CD in a safe place somewhere so that you can find it when you need it. Best wishes, Jack
