What does the pop up messgae "No Current Record" mean?

I recently re-installed DXbase 2006. When I try to close the program or when i
attempt to Initilize Tables I get this pop up mesgae.

How should I correct this problem?

Ron

Ron,

Well, if you reinstalled and then when u run DXbase, you get this message,
then it means that you didn't get a "good" install. This is most always
related to hardware trouble on your machine that causes this sort of thing
especially hard drive glitches. Nevertheless, to correct things I would do
the following:

Make sure you have your QSO database saved on your drive in a folder outside
of DXbase.

1. from control panel add/remove programs, remove DXbase in its entirety.
2. Using Windows Explorer, delete the DXbase 2006 folder and eveything in
it.
3. Using Windows Explorer, delete the dxb2006.ini file in the Windows
folder.
4. Reboot and turn off ALL other running programs especially antivirus
stuff.
5. Run scandisk or other utility to check your hard drive and if ok, then:
6. Install DXbase 2006.
7. Reboot.
8. import your old QSO database into the new one.

I don't know if you have obtained a new machine recently, but if you are
using the same machine that you've had for past five or so months, then the
types of problems you have reported over those months lead me to think you
have some pretty significant hardware issues going on in that machine.

Regards,
Jack
