     I'll put in my 2 cents worth on the subject too.  I used a KAM Plus for 
RTTY
back when DXB4.5 for DOS was out and it's been so long I forget what 
software
I used. But when MMTTY came out I found it much surperior to FSK. I always
felt the RTTY signal had to be pretty strong for good copy on the KAM+but 
with
MMTTY I copy some mighty weak signals. I do use some additional audio
filtering, DSP, and a 250 hz mechanical filter on my FT1000MP which helps
when the going gets tough. As Jim said "Most RTTY ops would say the KAM
is inferior to soundcard based  MMTTY".
