To ALL DXbase2007 users,
For those DXbase2007 users on LoTW who would like to use the "current" version of my Auto-LoTW upload/download program -- pse email me directly (only) with the answers to all of the questions that I am asking below. The project is now open to DXbase2007 users - no matter how many OPRCALLS you have. I am "only" be making this Auto-LoTW program for DXbase2007. To take advantage of all of the automated features of this project - pse ensure that you are using the TQSL.exe V1.11 program.. The previous TQSL.exe V1.10 will work ok - but, you will not be able to take advantage of all of the automated features. There are some "assumptions" that I am "hard-coding" into the current version - if you do not like the assumptions I have made (listed next) - I do plan on improving the program down the road - you can hold-off on asking. --------- Here are the assumptions "hard-coded" into the program: (1) The ADIF file that is made when you press the "LoTW Upload" button "will be SAVED" in your DXbase2007 Main Directory !!!!!!!! (2) The Filename/Path of the TQ8 file will ALWAYS be as (example for my computer setup) :: C:\Program Files\Scientific Solutions\DXbase 2007\SemiAutoLoTWUpload.tq8 --and-- The above filename/path will automatically be copied to your clipboard -- so that when the ARRL LoTW "File to Upload" webpage comes up, you ONLY HAVE TO "Paste" (Ctrl V) the clipboard contents into the TextBox. (3) On the Download from ARRL LoTW website side of my program, PSE PSE make sure that YOU SAVE the downloaded file, which MUST BE as filename of : lotwreport.adi SAVED into your DXbase2007 Main Directory - as (example for my computer setup) is: C:\Program Files\Scientific Solutions\DXbase 2007\lotwreport.adi (4) You have "already" received your CERTIFICATE for the OPRCALL(s) -- and you have the PASSWORDS available for "signing" and for logging-into the ARRL LOTW website. For the current version -- ALL of the ABOVE "Assumptions" MUST BE acceptable - otherwise the program WILL NOT work properly.. ---------- Here are the QUESTIONS that I will need answers for - in order to be able to CUSTOM-make your program: (1) What web-browser do you use to log-into the LoTW website? (2) What is the FULL PATH of the web-browser in #1 above? (3) Do you ALWAYS upload to LoTW "all" valid QSOs that are in your logbook(s) that have the QSLS not indicating an LoTW upload? (4) What are the OPRCALLS that are in your logbook? If more than ONE OprCall -- are they tied-together on the same LOTW account? Do you have ALL of the callsigns (OPRCALLS) that you have in ONE logbook?? If not, what calls are in each logbook? (5) What is the FULL PATH of the TQSL.exe program on your computer? (6) What "exactly" are the Station Location(s), when you go into the TQSL.exe program / Station (Edit Locations) ... I need to know the EXACT info for each location (including spaces, etc) .. (7) What are the PRIMARY callsign(s) that you LOG-onto the ARRL LoTW website with? (8) Do you ALWAYS update the QSLS column when you make the ADIF output and send the adif file to lotw? (9) What is the FULL PATH for your DXbase2007? When you provide me with the above information, I will make your file -- The program has been TESTED successfully by myself and 3 other DXbase2007 users...
