Use a font with fixed spacing, not proportional. I use Andale Mono, which has a slashed zero. Here's one of the web sites that has it: http://www.k8zt.com/zero.html

Obviously, "DX de, etc." is left aligned. However, everthing from that point on appears to following the same spacing so it looks like everything is all over the page. Hard on my old brain to read.
