HI Mike Sorry to hear of your problems, what has happened is that some of those junk programs are linked into other programs on your computer they are using the same bits of data if that makes sense, so by removing the program you lost the linking of data I am sure other more computer experts can explain it better. What you can try is going back to before you deleted the programs using restore. If you get a better idea then try it.
