PROBLEM.
When ever I close out DXBase and then re-start it, rotor 2 will not turn
when commanded. If I click on either the short or long path icons nothing
happens; if I click on the manual heading enter icon, the Rotor Direction
window will not appear.
The only way to correct the problem is to A. Shut down the computer and
complete re-boot; or B. Go to TOOLS, OPTIONS, USER OPTIONS, and then open
up the Rotor 2 window. Once there, if I change the "rotor type'" to any
other type, close the window, then go back through the above mentioned
steps to get to the Rotor 2 window, and then re-enter HYG-DUC1 (using either
a Green Heron or a CDR Tailtwister controller), and then closing the window,
Rotor 2 works again!
Originally I was using the M2 control box and I had the same problem; If I
would go change the type rotor to anything else and then back to M2, it
would work.
I have tried switching the boxes to opposite com ports and changing the type
of control box (M2 to Hy Gain) and it makes no differecne. Once I close
DXBase 2008 and restart it, rotor 2 will not work until going though the
above "pain in the butt" steps.
Hopefully someone can help me out with this problem. I have gone so far as
to change computers, format the hard drive on both and re-load windows (XP
Home), change COM ports, and change from a sereial to a USB connection.
Nothing fixes the damn problem!! Always rotor 2 will not respond to
commands!!
Can't believe it is a computer problem as I have changed the computers
(differrent motherboards, chipset,).
Any body have an idea??
Thanks
