I imported a DXbase 2003 .mdb database file into a fresh DXbase 2006 .mdb
database file. Everything looks great ...... BUT ......... when data is
populated into the COUNTY field the program immediately locks up. This only
happens when trying to place data into the county filed, not any of the other
fields. Tables were initialized with no effect.
A test was run by loading a different .mdb file; the main DXbase 2006 .mdb file
that is usually used for logging. This works alright no problems. When the
program is closed and the other database (the one that was imported from 2003
into 2006) is loaded the COUNTY field problem returns.
It doesn't seem to be a corrupted program but rather an import problem or maybe
the imported file is somehow getting corrupted during the import.
Can you suggest a cure?
