Joe, I have an unresolved DXBase Issue. It is as follows.
I am running DX Base 2007 and a Kantronic KAM XL. Until the other day, the VHF Packet window was working perfectly. Now, for no apparent reason, my KAM XL will no longer transmit. Also, I have noticed some strange characters being displayed on received packets. The TNC DOES Transmit just fine with my other TNC programs. The received DX Spots seem to look OK, but other text such as info on other stations connected have strings of characters I have not seen. Things like AAOOSS with a mark above each character. I also noticed at one time that the TNC DID connect to the DX Cluster without me even initiating the transmit connect command. Very Strange indeed. Any idea what may have caused this? I can NOT get this thing to transmit again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh Yeah, I am running Windows Vista 64 as my OS. That might be important to know. Regards, Paul, K2FX Paul J.
