Jean,

During the installation of DXbase, we attempt to place a host file in the
normal folder location expected by Windows. I think on Vista it is
c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc but you can do a file search on host to
find the exact location.

Vista does not allow our installation to overwrite your existing host file.
So, the solution is to copy the host file that we place in your DXbase 2007
folder into the location where Vista expects to see it. Overwrite the
existing host file with the one from the DXbase folder.

Regards,
Jack

Dear all,

I have installed DXB2007 and the license keys and the .mdb files without any
problem and it works fine now. (Tnx to Wes N7WS)
We have just a problem with the DXcluster, the Host file to access to
DXCluster is empty.
In File>Modify Hosts File we have the mention "Unable to locate or open
hosts file"
The same message in users option > Internet (IP Host) It is impossible to
write anything in it !!!!!
Please, is there somebody who can help us ?
Many thanks.
Best regards,73's
