Dick, I have to say that I really don't have a problem with DXBase and LOTW. I find it very easy to upload to LOTW. I just opoen the selection wizzard, click on QSO filters, then set the < and > dates using a file name of the date I am submitting (such as 20090316 for the one I submitted today). Once that is done I go to TQSL and sign the file (which would then be 20090316.tq8). With that accomplished, I open LOTW and upload the file, and then delete the old adi and tq8 files in the DXBase directory. Hardly a "big deal" as far as I am concerned.
I don't know how you can "do it wrong". I just look at the last time I show a "NO" or "Card" in the QSLS column of DXBase, and use the day before for the wizard.
