DXBase 2007 works great with the Kenwood TS-2000.
I don't know about the RS USB to serial adapter because I have
Other USB to serial type equipment here (microHAM micro KEYER) and it works
fine.

Subject: [Dxbase] dxbase 2007 & Kenwood TS-2000

Hi all

I have downloaded the trail version of dxbase 2007. I know from a friend
that
this is an excellent program. I plan on buying this software if I can get it
to
communicate with my Kenwood.

My radio is a Kenwood TS-2000. The radio is 8 years old, I believe it has
the
original firmware. The baud rare was set at 9600 (menu #50) I have tried
changing the baud rate to 4800. My PC is running windows XP. I do not have a
com port so I am using a radio shack serial db9 to usb connector. The PC
sees
it fine as com5. I tried several settings without luck. I verified that the
properties of the com port matched the user options in dxbase.

Is anyone using this radio with the serial interface to dxbase? Any
suggestions
are appreciated. .

Thanks

Craig
