I added a second serial port to my computer and the second radio is working fine. I found the icon for the second radio and could not fine the one to go back to radio one. Then I realized you click on the second radio icon to go back to radio one.
I purchased a USB to ICOM radio interface cable on ebay. No need to go to RS232 and then convert to the ICOM voltages. So for a total of $18, which includes shipping, I got the interface cable and a USB extension cable from KAWA. Never heard of them before but so far looks good. To use it, install the serial port driver first and setup the serial port speed in Device Manager. Connect the cable then add the second radio in DXbase. 73 Tom, N4TL ______________________________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
