I'm running way behind in several areas, but one I tried to catch up on tonight is to update the DxbPSK program to V2.28 that Joe released last March. I downloaded his zip file and unzipped the two files into my DXB2006 directory and copied over the older versions of the two files involved. When I start DxbPSK I can see that the new version is now running.
However, when I go to Help/Help Topics to refresh my memory about what needs to be done setup all the parameters for the program I get an error message in the Help window. The window title says "Insert Your Window Title Here" and the main display window says "Navigation to the webpage was canceled . What you can try: Retype the address." The Contents tab shows the Help book chapters, the very first one says "WinPSKUser211:" This leads me to believe that the Help file I'm trying to look at is for the old V2.1 program. None of the selections will display text. All the other tabs, Index, Search and Favorites are also blank. Apparently I've lost the Help file. How do I recover the file into something I can use? Is there a web address for the Help file? I thought it was local in the DXB directory, but it's been a long time since I've run PSK and I don't really remember. Is there a new Help file somewhere on Joe's web site? Any assistance appreciated. 73, Gary AL9A ______________________________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
