Last time I used VHF packet cluster was 10 years ago. So will not miss it at all.
Two internet clusters is a good idea. However, more important thing is an "auto reconnect". If the internet connectivity is lost even for a short period of time, the cluster drops the connection, but DXBase still thinks that the connection is OK. I think that if DXBase Packet Cluster interface does not receive any reply for 2 or 3 "stay alive" requests, it should try to disconnect and reconnect.
