Putting up a "ham" radio antenna in the dark?  The report says "an antenna
like this one" and it is hard to determine what it is.  It could be a
vertical but doesn't appear to have any traps.  It could also be a CB
antenna.  Sounds to me as if these folks are definite nominations for the
Darwin Awards. 

However, my condolences to the family on their loss.
