Hi everyone

Thought I would answer this for the list instead of separate emails.
I have seen no issues with Win7 and DXBase but I caveat that with the fact I
am not using rig control the way you are (I use virtual serial ports to my
Flex radio Powersdr software). Just the same as Vista.

For Vista/Win7 installatations, I recommend that you do not install DXBase
in the default location (i.e., C:\Program Files\Scientific Solutions\DXBase
2007\.

The best way to install on these operating systems is:
1. First, create a folder on the root of your c drive and name it
DXBase_2007.
2. Start Setup.exe
3. When it asks if you want to change the default location, click on Browse
and select the file you just created.
4. Then let the installer continue normally.

By doing this, you will bypass all of the UAC/Secure Folder protection that
Vista and Win7 have in place to prevent viruses.

If you do install DXBase on Win7. let us know if you see any problems!
