I saved the modified file using a new filename, in my case I named the new file kg6i64and saved it to my DXBase2007 folder. 3. I double-clicked on the file and answered Yes when Windows asked if I wanted to allow this file to modify the registry. 4. I copied the Hosts file from my DXBase2007 folder into C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc. This fix was posted a year ago or more to get Vista to work with DXBase2007 and it works fine with Win 7 too.
