Every time a new Windows format comes out DXBase and other logging programs
start to have issues.
One would think that certain functions of Windows would not affect others when
an after market program is running with in it. You keep hoping that the windows
programmers would eventually get it right. This is frustrating on various
levels.
Planning and building programs must be frustrating as well when the environment
around the program keeps changing. It must be extra hard to keep some
standards constant in an after market program with these changes.
My question is, is Windows trying to be more like Mac or is Mac trying to be
more like Windows? Why don't they just get together hug and make up and make
life easier for the rest of us?
