Stu,

You must have installed some other software that erased your original host 
file and placed an empty host file in its place.

DXbase keeps a copy of the host file that we install in your DXbase folder. 
So, you can copy the host file located in your DXbase folder to the 
necessary Windows folder called Winsystem32/drivers/etc and overwrite the 
one that is there already.
