Just wanted to let everyone, especially Joe, know what a fun morning I've
had working RTTY and PSK. We had about 5 inches of snow last night and
after I got done plowing I fired up the radio and tried my first on the air
QSO with the new improved DXBasePSK V2.29 program. Had a pleasant chat with
Steve N1AB in CA and logged the QSO directly into DXB with no problem.
Decided to chase some RTTY DX that was spotted so switched over to AXETTY,
but couldn't copy any of the Africa stations being spotted. So I turned the
beam a bit and called CQ and then ran 18 RTTY QSO's, including Bill W9LO in
Chicago. What fun! The only problem was when AB1J in MA sent me a 579
report and I tried to edit the RSTR box before logging the QSO. Apparently
it doesn't like to take an insert in the middle of the numbers and I ended
up logging 59 instead of 579. I'll have to watch that closer in the future.

Now if Santa will just hurry up and get here with the new IC-7600 so I can
get that setup and going I'll be a real happy camper! Thanks for all the
patches, fixes and updates to these two great digital programs Joe! Have a
most Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

73,
Gary AL9A
