I'm not familiar with the CQ DXMarathon, but there is nothing wrong with xcel files containing macros, as long as you know who the files are from. I use them all the time in many of my spreadsheets, and get them from others that I know and trust. Joe, If it is just a matter of opening and testing the file, I'd be glad to do it.
