Jerry,
You must edit your 32 bit registration file to use it with 64 bit.
Below are instructions from Jack on how to do this.

"Use notepad to open the registration file that you have for 32 bit.

Replace the following line:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Scientific Solutions\Dxb2007]

With the following line:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Scientific Solutions\Dxb2007]

Save changes to a new filename so that you do not erase your original 32bit
registration.

To apply this new registration, double click the .reg filename just as you
would for 32bit."

Subject: [Dxbase] Migrating DXBase 2007 to new Win. 7 Pro problems

I recently bought a new Windows 7 Pro 64bit PC.

I tried to install my 2007 version DXBase on it after installing the Virtual
Pc es XP mode software to run on Windows 7.

Everything seems to install correctly, and I get NO errors, but when I run
my Registration file to register it in the registry, it installs properly,
but when I try and launch DXBase, it tells me I need to register the
software and need to run the Trial.mdb.

I have loaded this same software on 2 other pc's I have, XP PRO, with no
problems Writelog loads ok as well as other Ham software I use with no
problems, sofar!

Anyone have any ideas on what might be the problem?
