Dont want to start an argument, but Joe has helped me also in so many ways, recently he reclaimed a log I thought was lost forever that was done in DOS DXB. It was from an expedition my friend W0RI and I did to put China on 160 meters back in 1998. I had to use DOS due to the only computer being a small and ancient. Joe reclaimed the log, updated it through several versions and imported into 2007 with not a loss of a QSO. He has helped me through several computer crashes and syncing my log with LOTW etc. Cant thank him enough for all the help, I almost fell out of the chair when the phone would ring and there was Joe with some good words. 1st class operator all the way around. What the word Elmer is all about. Thanks Joe.. 73 Merv KH7C ex K9FD > When someone mentions 'ELMER' I always think of Joe. > > I think I may have been Joe's biggest client. > He created numerous special reports to help me chart my goals. > He tutored me through the qsl card creation process. > He was never too busy, to help. > > I will miss you Joe...the best to you and your wife... > > My prayers are with you both. > > > ---------------------------------------------------------- > "640k ought to be enough for anybody."
