Bill, You have to edit your registration file to make it work with any 64 bit system. Here's how.
Converting a 32bit Registration file to 64bit. Use notepad to open the registration file that you have for 32 bit. Replace the following line: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Scientific Solutions\Dxb2007] With the following line: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Scientific Solutions\Dxb2007] Save changes to a new filename so that you do not erase your original 32bit registration. To apply this new registration, double click the .reg filename just as you would for 32bit. 73 de Tony, KD4K -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Bill Boeckenhaupt Sent: Monday, March 29, 2010 6:19 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Dxbase] need help Im trying to load DXBASE2007 into Windows7 Neal and I have tried about everything with no Luck Every time I try to open Dxbase it comes up that I have to open with Trial.mdb when I do, he same thing happens.
