I have a question regarding back-ups. Currently I back up the N4JQQ.mdb file
as well as the refdata.mdb file. Both because I was told to. The former is
obvious. The refdata.mdb is not so obvious.

What is actually in the refdata.mdb file?

I also notice that when I do back-up these files, the N4JQQ.mdb file always
shows the date when I last backed up plus the current date.

The refdata.mdb "usually" shows a date in October and the current date. Is
this because I have never made any changes to whatever is in refdata.mdb since
October? To complicate this, depending on which other computer I drop this
file into, on one of them, it shows the dates like the N4JQQ.mdb file.

I am running XP on all my machines and use copies of DXB to back my data up.
In other words, I have DXBase running on several computers, one of which is at
my office, to save my data on in addition to the thumb drive.

Thanks for your assistance.

Steve, N4JQQ
