ALL Dxbase2007 users,
I can really see that what I was hoping to make for the ultimate version
of the Refdata/Logbook checker is just not possible -- So, what I am going to
program for the next version is:
(1) The program will have a button that you can press "after" the ANALYZE
routine is done -- and this new routine will CORRECT the LAT/LON (where
the + sign is missing)
and
(2) The program will ADD comments/data to the TXT file that you VIEW
"after" the ANALYZE routine is done -- and this new data will try to give you
some info as to WHY there was any RED indicator next to the:
(a) PFX Count
(b) ARRL ID: 513-520
(c) ARRL ID: 99x/Empty
THEN -- with this new info -- you can see what MIGHT be the problem with
the Prefix-Pri table .... and simply send me an email with the contents of the
TXT
file -- and then we can go from there --
BUT - there are just too many unexpected things that the user can place
(manually) in the Prefix-Pri table -- and I just can not (program wise)
write a good solid routine to work around it ... Looking at the TABLE with my
own eyes - I can see what the problem is (as I just experienced with another
user's file) .. but, that's the difference between the programming and one's
own eye/brain doing the logic.
Hopefully, the final version will at least HELP all users.
