If you are running Vista or Windows 7, when you try to connect to DX Atlas from within DXBase 2007, you will get an error message.
Here is how to fix the problem: 1 Make sure you have changed the compatibility setting of DXBase to "Run as Administrator". To do this, right-click on the DXB2007.exe and select Properties. Then click on the Compatibility tab at the top of the resulting window. Finally, check the "Run as Administrator" checkbox and click on the OK button. 2. Make sure you have changed the DX Atlas compatibility setting. Same procedure as above. If you are using the 32 bit version of your operating system, make sure Dx Atlas is installed in the Program Files/Afreet/Dx Atlas/ directory; if the 64 bit version of the operating system, it must be in the Program Files (x86)/Afreet/Dx Atlas/ directory That should fix it. 73 Neal Neal Campbell Abroham Neal Software www.abrohamnealsoftware.com (540) 645 5394 NEW PHONE NUMBER Amateur Radio: K3NC Blog: http://www.abrohamnealsoftware.com/blog/ DXBase bug reports: email to [email protected] Abroham Neal forums: http:/www.abrohamnealsoftware.com/community/ ______________________________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
