ALL: I have finished making the BETA version of the MixW to DXbase BRIDGE program. And, the ZIP file has been posted to the following LINK:
http://www.navycthistory.com/wa6axe/MixWBridge.zip Be aware that this BRIDGE, like the Mix2DXB.exe (old) program, will not run unless YOU HAVE the MixW program itself running FIRST ... My MixW to DXbase BRIDGE program is very small and will DO everything that the other BRIDGE programs do (that I have made) ... There is NOTHING to do but (1) Bring up DXbase2007 (2) Bring up MixW (3) Bring up the MixWBridge The TWO grey boxes should now turn to GREEN color... the BRIDGE is ready .. To SAVE a QSO to DXbase -- use MixW as you normally would and ONCE you PRESS the "Save QSO" button (or hit hotkey ALT-S) the MixW program will send (via the BRIDGE) all of the normal info to DXbase (automatically) -- no other buttons to press or anything else .. The info that is passed to DXbase is: Call, RSTR, RSTS, Freq, Name, Mode or --- if you have the checkmark made for the "DO not send Freq to DXbase" then the following is sent to DXbase: Call, RSTR, RSTS, Name, Mode Be sure that you have (within DXbase itself) the OPTION for External Program " Auto SAVE " turned ON ... If anyone does test this BETA version of the BRIDGE - could you pse pass any words you have about it to me via direct email -- mni TNX!! There is a SCREEN-SHOT of my setup I use here -- with the BRIDGE shown at: http://www.navycthistory.com/wa6axe/MixWBridge.gif 73, Joe WA6AXE ______________________________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
