Make a station that moves around "P/" or a "/P" as long as most or all logging programs sees it as an invalid or Unknown DXCC QSO. At least this way it can be flagged for further action to be taken later on.
Problem here is that no one will get credit on their logging program unless the get the "/" and "P" out of there. Thats the price we pay for having an electronic logging program. The logging programs that are out there are smart up to a point. If you work a "/P" station during a contest the way it is now, You will need to work another station for that new one that is not a "/P". Making the correction at the time of the QSO or taking the time to work a different station from the same country, costs you time when you could spend that looking for a NEW one or working more station to get you totals up. Most ops know their prefixes for the entities so they will attach the proper prefix and drop the "/P" For moving vehicle operations, "/M" get dropped off as well. One must abide by the rules of the entity your operating from. so if your operation from a country other than USA, you will just have to deal with it. Logging QSOs in no longer and FCC requirement so it is optional. One must abide by the rules of the entity your operating from. So when in doubt CYA and keep a log. Stay on course, fight a good fight, and keep the faith.
