ARe you using a RAC or QRZ CDROM lookups for the QSOs ??? Sometimes the FORMAT
of the CDROM entry
is corrupt or just TOO LONG for DXbase --- and if the CDROM County is supposed
to be auto-populated
(by your selection in OPTIONS) -- then -- if the CDROM has a BUM County (City
name, etc) -- then it will
CLASH with DXbase ...

Best test is to TURN-OFF your CDROM look-ups completely (temporarily) and do
another TEST QSO
(that you KNOW will BOMB-OUT) -- and see what happens

I have had the same problem, there seems to be a bug of some sort that

at times will not allow the county to be selected or if it does it
locks up

that entry and you cannot move or enter anything else.

I have been able to repeat it many times, I find that the only way out
is to

usually shut down DXBase and go to qso, reselect the state again and

then the county and it is ok.

The bug seems to be that DXbase does not recognize the state entry all
the

time, but its too late to re-enter the state after you try selecting
the county

and then it locks up.

Little difficult to describe, but there is a problem ..

Yes, the state has been entered.

Then I get the drop down menu with all of the counties in that state.

It is when I choose the county from the drop down menu and the county
is

in the county box that I am unable to update the record.
