Now that I have determined the Piexx board in my TS-940 is not working properly (maybe), I have hooked up my TS-480 and still have trouble with settings. WOW never had trouble when computers had serial ports! Drivers were installed for the cable (usb to serial) and device manager says its working. I set port settings as follows for the TS-480:
Baud 4800 data 8 parity none stop bits 1 also tried 2 Have tried with all combonations of DTR, RTS CTS settings Have lso tried another program HR Deluxe that I have used before to get connections (using auto detect. Still cant connect.
