Hi Tim, Others have suggested this option as well, but backing up off -line is NOT an option for me anymore. Previously we lived in town and with my high speed connection I put critical files in my Windows Live web space. Now that we are in the country, dial up is my only option and moving large files can be a real drag.
But I do agree, cloud computing is a good way to go if you can do it. Merry Christmas, Eric. ----- Original Message ----- From: "N3XX" >I use Dropbox ( www.dropbox.com ) to backup my DXbase files, as well as > other important files. > Files placed in Dropbox on my computer are immediately backed up off site, > as well as added to the Dropbox folders on the other 3 computers in the > house. > It's simple to use, and free up to 2 GB. > > 73, > Tim - N3XX ______________________________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
