I don't see the point, here. Windows 7 introduced a lot of non-trivial changes while Windows 8 is simply vaporware.
I find DXBase does everything I need with the capability to do lots that I either don't know about or haven't yet needed. But even better is that it doesn't do stuff unasked that I don't need. A lot of people find it necessary to have the newest stuff because it's, well... New. Especially with software, there be dragons. DXBase is a mature program with sufficient support to meet community needs. Nothing about it is broken. Neal is working on a new version that incorporates many new features and as work proceeds he wants to insure that we don't wind up as beta testers that have to pay for the privilege. Patience, patience... 73, Kim Elmore N5OP At 04:08 PM 2/8/2012, you wrote: >I believe that the reason for the delay of DXBase 10 is to make it play >nice with Windows 7. > >Well, contemplate this, DXBasers: the delay has been so long that it >appears that /Windows 8/ is not far off of the horizon: ______________________________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
