I think that Joe had gotten himself into an impossible situation. I have
talked to him on the phone on several occasions and have noticed that his
tone has slowly grown sharper lately. I greatly respect Joe for all the help
that he has been to me and (others that I don't know about). I believe that
he feels that the time has come for him to back away from this software. I
think we should all respect that. He has done many of us a lot of favors by
helping in dozens of ways. I teach a couple of online courses to certify
school administrators, and after you have been asked the same question many
times you get a little tired of it, especially if you have little or no
input on improving the software.

My feeling is that we should greatly thank Joe for all the help. Maybe we
have grown too used to him fixing all our problems when we should have been
a little more self sufficient or expected the developer, whether the current
or previous to provide the help we need.

Thanks a bunch Joe!
