Searching the web, I came up with numerous ..."fixes"... , some benign,
some disastrous.

The consensus though is that it was caused by a Microsoft Security Update
and we can only wait for the next Update to fix the Previous Update.

In the meantime, it's a minor PITA that does no damage, so I just need
to remember to open DXBase twice !!
