ALL:

I have now had two users ask about the Z60WW used during this past weekend's
CQWW Contest.

Since Z6 is NOT a VALID Prefix (not issued by the ITU) -- and since the ARRL
has already
said that the Z6 is not valid for DXCC -- I would handle it as:

Log the QSO and change the PREFIX column to YU .... This will let you MAP the
Z6 to the YU entity ..
This is really a mess!! Then I would mark THAT QSO and any Z6 QSO as INVALID
(in the logbook's VALID
column) ...

Since Kosovo is NOT a new DXCC entity - I will not be listing it in the Primary
Prefix table ---

Remember that they people over in Kosovo - simply grabbed the Z6 prefix for
their own - since
it was not currently published as issued by the ITU to anyone else .. this
still makes the Z6 prefix
INVALID .. no matter what..

Like I said before - a real mess!!! But, the above is how I (personally) would
handle it "if" I
had worked the Z60WW ...

Think of this one -- LIKE the 1B prefix that some of the Cyprus hams use (not
valid) -- and the
1X prefix used by some of the Checnya hams ... same category for Z6!!
