Dear all, this kind of therapy is known since 1998. it is called gene therapy, it has different ways one of them is to use stem cells (الخلايا الجذعية) The advantage is that these cells are the origin of all other cells and it can regenerate cells according to the area in which it is placed, like liver, pancreas, bone, skin,or even the heart...etc. the problem that these cells have a high tendency to create bone or (osteoblasts)... (عظام ) more than the cells that you really need, we do not know why? and you may find new bone cells in the organ or the area you placed in these cells. Defintly, in few years , it will be the treatment of choice but till now, we do not know how to control them to make them create only the cells that we need as Pancreas for diabetes, or heart muscles for cardiac patient or arteries for patient withj atherosclerosis. The real actual success is in bone repair (orthpedic surgery) sorry, but we have to wait little more... best of luck to you all Dr. Khaled ABDEL AAL VASCULAR SUREON
