you reminded me of the T.V. program broadcasted on Egyptian channel 2 with members from our community .. this took place maybe 2 or 3 years ago :-) the same was discussed, and simmlar encouraging ideas about diabetes was aired live on the show (Sehetak Ya Shabab ... Egyptian National T.V. channel 2).. at that time I thought that this was another one step forward to change the improper image of diabetes in our eastern communities in general !
