Hmm...still does not seem to work.
Where in the architecture is the 'ondragdrop' event invoked?

replace ondrop with ondragdrop

Here's the code that should produce an alert...

myListenerDrop2.ondrop=function(e) {
    alert('hi')
 }
 myTarget2.addEventListener(myListenerDrop2)
