This is common for XSL elements that are not strongly formed <IMG><INPUT> ect. I do not know of a way to prevent the XSL parser from adding the slash. The error occured using inline layers on Rev. 2001.01.25. The problem does not occur on Rev. 2000.11.07 I have not found an effective solution to this problem.
