I just read an article describing how to perform innerHTML in Mozilla before
Mozilla supported innerHTML, it looks like that's where the DynAPI got it's
current implementation. I digress, the point of the post is the article
mentioned the proprietry Mozilla method of createContextualFragment (no
wonder I could never find this in the DOM!) which is used to perform
equivalent of innerHTML in Mozilla. The thing is, in browser.js we are
testing for the existence of createContextualFragment for setting is.dom,
which basically means is.dom is not is.dom at all, it's is.ns6!

So I'd like to suggest we change the is.dom condition to something else, as
there are different levels of the dom, we might want to set is.dom1 is.dom2
and is.dom3 as well, but maybe that's going a bit too far :-) Testing for
createElement or appendChild or getElementsByTagName, or all of the above
would be more useful I think.

Oh, the article is at http://webfx.eae.net/dhtml/ieemu/htmlmodel.html

Cheers,

Cameron.
