I've had the same problem with IE. I don't think it's a NS-specific
issue. Check your NS preferences and make sure your browser cache is
enabled and not checking for new files with every request. FWIW,
nothing I do keeps IE from hitting the server again, and it seems to
happen a lot with DynAPI, preloaded images or not.
