You would need a much more powerful client. Something where you could
mark an e-mail and say, don't care about follow-ups to this, nor anyone
with remotly the same subject line.

Possible, but I don't think there are any client where this is fast and
easy to do. (I'm pretty sure that a lot of people will tell me about
programs where this is possible, and that would be nice, but I don't
think it is neccessary for my part.)
