i believe that there is a need for a separate package dealing with the more
advanced widgets.
I personally have three different packages that distinquish between the API,
GUI, EXT/UTIL parts.
This means that it is easier to keep track of where each component is. it it
easier than having a large gui folder with all of my code in it.
