jEdit (http://jedit.sourceforge.net/) I think..

Pros:   
It has some really sweet stuff.
Console, regexp, ftp, and the best thing, a plug that turns code into html
viewable
complete with indenting, line numbers and color coding of syntax.

Cons:
   Java based so a tiny bit slower than other editors.
