Personally I don't plan to start any DOM library. There are many around
and I'm confident enough about those creating them. I prefer to stay
with the DynAPI and iimprove it. However, improving does not mean adding
stuff but fixiing the already existing bugs. The DynAPI is a library
that provides some cross-browser functionalities and supports browsers
4.0 and above. That's it. You want to drop anything non-DOM-compliant,
that's OK: use another library. This one is meant to those wanting
legacy support of 4.0 browsers. There is no point in discussing whether
4.0 browsers should be dropped: you want tu exclude them, do it. I'm
doing this because I like doing this: I like the idea of real people
solving their everyday troubles with something I have contributed to do.
I could go without the DynAPI, I've got the skills to do so, but as long
as people uses this API I'll stay around.
